Davis Acoustics was founded in 1986 by Michel Visan who was formerly engineer at Siare. From day one Davis Acoustics has been using Kevlar and Carbon fiber cones for their drivers which showed low distortion and manageable break-up behavior. In most cases you don't need a notch filter to control these cones. The Davis Acoustics graphite cones offer an interesting alternative to plain paper cones.
